Requirements: A successful candidate will complete 8 core training programs and 2 electives, write a brief report on each of these programs, actively participate in an AAPA technical committee and complete a paper or project by the end of 2023.

Candidates are expected to attend the Executive Management Seminar and the Marine Terminal Management Training programs as a class and to the extent possible, attend the other required courses as a group within the first 2 years of the program. Candidates will have a total of 4 years to complete the course requirements and make up any courses not taken in the first 2 years, however, candidates are more than welcome to finish sooner. For your planning purposes if you are selected to join the Bravo Executive Cohort Class of 2023, it is strongly advised that you attend the Marine Terminal Management Training that will be offered April 19-23 2021 in Miami, FL.

Candidates may be credited for any AAPA required or elective program taken within the previous five years of enrollment in the program.  Please list the seminars (and the years they were taken) for which credit is requested.

The PPM® now includes expanded educational offerings with the International Association of Port and Maritime Executives (IAMPE). IAMPE is an organization dedicated to developing and maintaining professional standards in the maritime industry. This partnership in conjunction with AAPA's seminars and educational offerings will offer more choice and flexibility for programming at a reduced rate.
